Gray Dogwood has flat-topped clusters of flowers atop red stems. Attractive white berries then follow from August to October. Even after the berries are eaten by wildlife, the shrub is still striking with its red fruit stems and purple fall foliage. This shrub will tend to be shorter when planted in dryer sites.
