Lance Leaf Coreopsis has golden yellow daisy like flowers that bloom in early summer atop bright green foliage.  They form small clumps, self-seed and can grow into large colonies in optimum conditions.  Dead heading spent blooms will prolong blooming. Lance Leaf Coreopsis is a nectar and pollen source for numerous butterflies and bees. Songbirds, such as gold finches, will feed on seeds in late summer.
