Pale-leaved Sunflower reveals a beautiful profusion of showy 4" yellow flowers that bloom for about a month in late summer to fall. This plant is well adapted to grow in a diverse range of conditions from dry sandy soil to river banks. It spreads via rhizomes and can overtake a small garden area.

This plant is a top 30 keystone native plant for caterpillars and top 30 host plant that supports pollen specialist bees according to the National Wildlife Federation.
