Yellow Trillium grows in a partially to fully shaded environment, and prefers moist to medium soil, making it an ideal choice for a shade or woodland garden. In the early spring  beautiful, fragrant yellow flowers are produced, which are not only aesthetically pleasing but also serve as an important source of nectar and pollen for early-season pollinators. Beyond attracting pollinators, Yellow Trillium plays a significant ecological role as a host plant for the Black Patched Clepsis moth  and the American Angle Shade moth.
