Golden yellow daisy like flowers bloom in early summer atop bright green foliage.  They form small clumps, self seed and can grow into large colonies in optimum conditions.  Dead heading spent blooms will prolong blooming.  Lanceleaf Coreopsis is a nectar and pollen source for numerous butterflies and bees.  Song birds, such as gold finches, will feed on seeds in late summer.
